Giclée Fine Art and Photographic Printing

The Dot Foundry specialises in Giclée fine art printing on paper and canvas for artists, photographers, agents, galleries and designers.

Using a wide range of paper and canvas from companies such as Hahnemuhle and St. Cuthberts Mill along with archival quality pigment inks, we reproduce long lasting images to the highest quality.

Our printing service is cost effective and flexible, allowing our customers to print a single image on demand, an entire limited or open edition or an entire portfolio.

Image Scanning and Photography

If the image you want to print is not yet in a digital form ready for printing, we offer a number of ways to capture your images.

Negatives or transparencies are scanned using high quality Nikon scanners. We can capture anything from 35mm up to medium and large format at resolutions of up to 4000 dpi.

Original works can be photographed in our studio using our large format camera system equiped with a 380 Megapixel digital scan back. This, combined with a fixed spectrum lighting system ensures the highest quality first generation digital images.

We also have a digital press to provide complimentary services to our fine art printing.

This allows us to print high quality greeting cards and postcards and can also print calendars, flyers, business cards, invitations, catalogues and other promotional material.
