Printing Services
We have a strict policy not to adjust any colour settings or contrast / brightness settings, unless specifically asked to by the client. The colour settings and the type of computer monitor that you use to view your images affects the perception of how your image should look. Unless your computer monitor has been calibrated the image on your screen may look different to the final print. As we cannot guarantee the accuracy of your monitor, we will not accept colour reproduction as a valid reason for return once the proofing process has been completed.

We reserve the right to make a judgment as to whether the image supplied to us is of sufficient quality to print at the size requested by the customer. If the image is too small you will be informed and you will be asked to supply an alternative larger scale version of the image, or we will arrange a refund if this is unavailable.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to indemnify us and our staff and company against any action, claim, damages, liability, costs and expenses arising out of any claim with regard to infringement of a third parties copyright, intellectual property rights, or trade mark, due to the reproduction or processing of any image by us on behalf of you the customer.

Privacy
At all times we respect the privacy and copyright of our customers. All personal information is encrypted and only used by The Dot Foundry and SagePay credit card Authorisation Services. We do not sell or give away any of your details to third parties.

Copyright
The Dot Foundry assumes that the person who sent the image has the right to use the image.

Image Storage
Images are securely stored at The Dot Foundry usually for a period of 1 - 4 months (depending on our storage requirements) after an order has been completed. The exceptions to this are when requested by the customer to a) Remove the image as soon as the order is delivered to the customer or b) Store the images for a longer period. The storage of images allows us to reproduce prints on demand or check images with the customer if requested to do so. Although it is The Dot Foundry's intention to store images to improve service to our customers, we do not guarantee to do so. The files are stored on a storage array that is resilient to hardware failures – no data should be lost unless there is a catastrophe.
